I feel bad for the guy because he is getting trashed in the media and from other people only because he got caught. Most professional athletes cheat, it's honestly just the way the lifestyle is. You have millions of dollars thats more or less spending money because the team picks up everything else, you're in the public spotlight not just in your local community but in the national spotlight, and whether anyone wants to admit it or not having a huge sum of money is a big turn on for men and women. However...what's the difference between these 2 situations? Tiger Woods cheats on his wife, media grabs hold of it, its all anyone can talk/think/hear of in the past 2 weeks(I'm personally getting a little bored of it...the damage is done, letsa not ruin this guys life anymore then he already has himself) and the repuatation and image of the worlds best golfer is destroyed. Scenario 2: Jonathan Toews/Sidney Crosby/Ryan Getzlaf/Sam Gagner/Alex Ovechkin out fucking randoms and pick up Hep C/The Clap/or any other STD and media get ahold of it and trashes these guys for having a sexually transmitted disease. What's the difference? I know obviously all those guys are single...and the media would NEVER bash someone for having an STD(other then AIDS...see Magic Johnson). However, the media attention for picking up an STD would be possibly more humiliating then a case of adultry. But you'd never hear of it. Its like Brennan Shanahan. I had no idea that he stole a teammates wife(Craig Janney) as published by Zimm in a previous HSB blog...I don't think it was big news then...and Shanny was a top player in the league 99% of Canadians love(excluding Luke...apparently the NHL doesn't hold a candle to NCAA football...cough...fag...cough). Yet the media attention for these athletes goes out the window. I understand Tiger Woods is a world class athlete, possibly the most famous(I disagree the worlds best Lips, he iis amazing but golf isn't the most physically demanding sport and I personally think physical demand makes an athlete...not mental toughness...Tiger is the most dominant athlete in the world...but not the best Athlete??? Disagree???) And will always be in the spot light. However. I 100% disagree that we deserve to know what happens in their personal life. I know now more about Tiger Woods personal life then I'm sure I do of many of my close friends. That's not fair to Tiger. He fucked up...he is human. The world will keep turning, and I'm sure there is better news to report...frig...we are still fighting a war...and I'm thinking about 1000000+ men have cheated on their wives since this news broke...yet I haven't heard of one of them...nor do I care to...as I don't care to hear about Tigers flaws and mistakes anymore...all this coming from a guy who isn't even a Tiger fan...
