They both have military background and while they were still in Special Forces they probably had the same skills/strength. So back then a fight between them would probably end in a near tie (“near”, ’cause someone HAS do die eventuelly).

But then everything changes. Bourne joins Treadstone/Blackbriar. Treadstone makes the CIA Special Activities Division look like a cozy public library in a New England suburb. It makes MKULTRA look like a kindergarten party.

After Treadstone Bourne is not just a fighter/killer anymore, he’s a machine. When Jack Bauer fights, it’s out of anger, despair, fear and sheer willpower. When Jason Bourne fights he just flips a switch. After that he has only one operational parameter: “take the other guy(s) out with as little as possible damage to my tactical efficiency”.

This gives him two advantages:
1. he doesn’t get disrupted by unnecessary emotions
2. he still can go (at least) as far as any willpower-driven man, as he doesn’t need willpower. No matter how much he’s injured, he only has this one operational parameter and will go on with full speed and full power.

im sorry but before you make a comment be familiar with the circumstances bauer would win in a fair fight bourne may have killed a guy with a newspaper but bauer kill a man at the end of season 5 with his dang feet while severly injured second many forget bauer has a heart condition third ctu is compromised often so bauer is often provided with little to no intel bourne has no guts bauer kidnapped the president for cyring out loud overall bauer would kick bourne’s @## in a FAIR fight

many forget bauer has one day to save the world bourne has provided adequate time bauer is da plan bourne is not even better than james bond

it would only take jack bauer 5 minutes to hide the bodies of bourne bond and chuck norris after he had killed them GO BAUER

Jason Bourne has assassinated people in the name of the US. He served as an officer in the military and VOLUNTEERED to become a Treadstone assassin before his “malfunction” (caused when he was sent to eliminate some African dictator with like 500 kids). It is after this malfunction that he becomes a wanted man by his government….. wanted dead. He is also a $30 million dollar weapon.

Lets not forget ole Jackie doesnt occasionally fight fair where as Borne uses everything in his arsenal. Have to agree though, Borne would rip the shit out of Bauer in one on one combat but given the circumstances Im pretty sure it wouldn’t be a fair fight and if that’s the case I might have to give the nod to Jack.
