For those that missed it on Sportsnet the other day we were blessed with seeing what those crazy ruskies do for entertainment in between whistles. You know what, the NHL and the other professional sports in North America could learn something from them, then again this is North America and we have the privledge of dealing with PETA, feminisits, and all kinds of prudes. After this video was posted it got multiple sources of negative feedback…

Here’s some examples:

this is animal cruelty, where is PETA when you need them? That bear doesnt like it he has been beaten down to obey the horrible humans.  He/she would rather be in the wild picking berries and eating fish and being with their own kind. This is disgusting! ad I love hockey but this is not right.

That made me so sad. Poor bear. And people wonder why animals in captivity go nuts and maul their handlers…

omg that poor bear! this makes me sick. it clearly does NOT want to be there, for other people’s disgusting amusement.

Bears are not domesticated animals they belong in the wild with other bears. get it together people. It doesnt make it right. To the one who said he trains his dog how can you compare an animal that has been domesticated for hundreds of years to a wild one. would you say the same about a wolf?

What the hell is wrong with people, its a god damn bear playing hockey, if he was that mad he would of mauled his trainer years ago. He’s like every other hockey player, he enjoys the rewards and the girls.
