Missed a couple days of blogging there after having spent a ridiculous time celebrating my birthday weekend. Thanks to everyone who came out and I apologize to anyone who was at Oil City Friday night that I don’t remember talking too, apparently when it’s your birthday and shots such as reverse Jaeger Bombs are involved things tend to become a tad hazy in one’s mind. Regardless I got to see most everyone even if I wasn’t speaking English towards the end of the night. So with my birthday out of the way and the dreaded facebook birthdays all but gone I gotta wonder whats next.

Wait, I already know. Nothing. I’ve formally decided to quit drinking for no reason for at least a month, maybe more. Yeah yeah, I know what everyone is thinking and yes, I usually say this after every weekend when I’m really sick and hungover but this time its the truth, I’m finally more committed to getting back into some form of respectable shape and unfortunately drinking has gotta be put on the back burner.

So the real question is if anyone will believe that I can actually succeed in this endeavor. I’m actually willing to make this a wager for anyone and everyone who is interested. Money, hockey tickets, maybe even some form of naked humility? If you have any doubt I will fail at this then speak up and If I do in fact fail I’ll reward whoever is right. The only catch is you have to speak up at hotstickybun.com. Despite this blog being plugged into Facebook I wont take any requests through it because it doesn’t like me and I don’t like it.

Sobriety starts today, December 11th…and with an upcoming weekend Oiler game I’m sure I will have a good test this Saturday night with 5 others pestering me.

I’d say wish me luck but I’m fairly sure everyone thinks the lack of boozing is stupid, I agree.  Oh well here goes nothing.
