Anyone else think snow blows or am I the only one who could be a lot happier without that filthy whorish white stuff that makes its way every year round this time. It literally has no positive effect on my overall attitude, I used to look forward to it because it often symbolized the start of hockey season but its quite apparent with games being played outdoors in the middle of Los Angeles that there is absolutely no need for snow and I to co-exist anymore. Really, can anyone wake up to see it snowing and blowing in the morning and say “Ah, its so beautiful, I cant wait to go outside.” If you answered yes then in the words of Brick Tamland you have mental problems.
Lets look at this from the big perspective and sort through the negatives. First and more importantly is the cold weather that usually accompanies snow. You know bloody well someone is lying when they say they like cold weather over a warm summer day. You cant wear shorts, wiffle ball is unplayable, you cant go outside and do something productive (well OK maybe you can but you usually wind up sick) , you have to burn more gas warming up your car, and maybe most importantly a womans attire changes drastically when the winter season arrives. Take a stroll down Whyte Ave on a hot summer day and enjoy the scenery of half naked broads…winter on the other hand showcases a wide variety of fully clothed dirty bums and idiots with signs saying such things as “Kick me for $5″.
Next we have the abundance of bad drivers becoming shitty drivers. You would think being Canadian and dealing with winter every year for 16 plus years one would learn that when winter arrives and the roads are bad driving like an asshat will often cause an accident. I guess not. Instead of leaving 15 minutes earlier for their current destination people leave 15 minutes later and make up the time trying to speed there way through Yellowhead traffic only to cause a collision and slow traffic (and everyone else) down by an hour. Brilliant…absolutely brilliant. Then of course we have the super cautious driver who drives half the speed limit also causing more accidents then he/she would while driving the limit or at least close too. At least people in the U.S that don’t normally receive snow have an excuse when they crash, what’s ours?
And perhaps the biggest reason why Snow sucks
