Stilly’s 25th Bday

After managing to take a short break from what was the blank recall of Lloyd Lake I pulled myself together for what should be my last hoo-rah this past weekend in Grande Prairie for my good buddies 25th Birthday. For all who attended I hope everyone had a drunken good time as I know I did. It truly was a photo finish for drunkest person between the birthday boy and none other than Jmoe. In my personal opinion I give Moe the nod after I heard, seen, and cleaned the puke he left in Mudz bathroom sink. Its OK buddy, I’ve been there.

Come to think of it Jmoe had a rough one the night before losing to yours truly in a sudden death playoff at the Beaverlodge Golf Course. Two 40 foot puts to send it to a playoff and win it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Ok it was more like 20 footers, maybe even 10 I can’t really remember but you get the jist of this…it’s to rub it in just one more time.

Regardless for all you tally whackers out there who never attended the birthday party shame on you first of all, secondly I apologize to anyone who heard there was no party; our trickery may have fooled some (not many I don’t think). It was the perfectly planned 5 minute surprise birthday party I’ve ever seen and had we had a little more brains maybe we could have planned a bigger surprise. Needless to say I think the whole lot of us had a great time from playing a little Beirut throughout the evening although Jmoe may tell you differently. After watching some of the videos I have to narrow down the awards as follows…

Most Valuable Beirut Player: Tara Carter – After watching the in game replays I don’t think anyone was more valuable to their team seeing as she went on a stretch there draining shots every time she stepped up.

The Sean Willsey Memorial Trophy (Given to the one with Qualities of Perseverance and Sportsmanship): Jesse Moe – No one showed more Perseverance then Moe. Partnered with Abby Stilwell ,Jesse was the unfortunate victim of drinking for both and ended up ultimately losing the big game. Later on throughout the night he would wind up making Mud’s’ sink a little dirty.
Previous Winner: Darren Walker (won it after locking the main bathroom door to spend some quality time with the porcelain from the previous Beirut tournament.)

Prime Ministers Trophy (Awarded to the team with the worst overall record): Team Phrost which consists of Shane Mudryk and Darren Walker – Going 1 and 3 in the big dance will never help you in the long run.

The Bubba Rude Memorial Trophy (Awarded to the player with the best shot): Darren Walker – After draining back to back shots Walker managed to drain a ball that was sitting on the back counter which should have won the game.

The Ryan Richaud Memorial Trophy (Awarded to the best interviewer): Brain Williams aka Brant Stilwell – Making a rare appearance Williams found himself doing a special feature of the athletes of the 2nd annual Beirut Olympiad.

The Dave Leroux Memorial Trophy (Best Overall Performance): Brant Stilwell/Jesse Moe – Jesse drank for two and puked in the sink. Stilwell just got really shattered and ultimately relied on both Walker and Mudryk to carry him to the next level…literally. Both Walker and Mudryk would carry the injured player up the stairs to the next level bathroom where the injured Stilwell would get some injured reserve time by the porcelain.

Congratulations to all the winners, be on the lookout for the 3rd annual tournament in the near future.

Unfortunately the following day was meant to bring the first annual Wiffle Ball Lil Series but due to the current weather and the health of some of the players it was postponed. The games should start in the very near future.

PS. Pictures are up from the birthday, Videos will be up when I combine them all. Not sure when that will be as I am currently moving…hopefully to a place with an IP hookup. I’ll be in touch soon.

The Grand Daddy, godfather, greybush, manatee, etc of Hotstickybun Walks has been writing, designing, and re-designing this website for over 5 years in hopes of one day finding someone gullible enough to purchase it for over a million dollars so he can move to Mexico and live on a beach sipping margaritas all day.
